Respect Life Ministry
We are moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas and kids of IHM who love life, pray for the most vulnerable and educate the parish on what we can do to respect all life. Various events throughout the year are supported by the Respect Life Ministry. In October, we celebrate Respect Life Month and co-host a weekend of hospitality for all parishioners after each Mass. In December, an Advent Giving Tree supports Southwest Options for Women by parishioners donating needed items. In January, there is a Prayer Service at the St. Paul Cathedral and March for Life to the Minnesota State Capital Building. The 40 Days for Life prayer campaigns are in the fall and during Lent. During these campaigns, the group is encouraged to pray daily for the unborn and there is an opportunity to pray in front of Planned Parenthood.
